The associate you sent the client to will send business your way and the client will let others know you are a person of integrity. Let me repeat that so that the point is clear, a person of integrity. That is a difficult thing to find in today’s market where fast is thought to be the best and overnight success is thought to be the only way.

Now that you have a good appearance and a good reputation, you need a follow up. This requires research. Without a doubt, what is new today is old tomorrow. Does this mean to change your proven products and services? No, it means keep up with the new that follows under your field. If you are offering a service that requires programming, you aren’t just going to use DOS, are you? No, you will either learn all the latest languages or hire someone who does.

What it boils down to is this, today’s society has changed in the way we do business however the basics are now and always will be the same. Number one is appearance. For exampled: You have recently decided to create a website to sell the cute clothes you create for your pets. You have named the site Paws Town. You have added a catalog of course and even a blog for people to share about there favorite little four legged friend. There is even a video diary of you and your miniature toy poodle named Dot and your pretty Black lab named Muffy. You have written articles for the site and even been able to get a few advertisers. So you decide to create a video game about the adventures of Dot and Muffy in the Town coincidentally called Paws Town.

You have created two marketable characters that you can make into stuffed toys and logos and even add them to the tags of the pet clothes you are selling and label them as originals. All of this brings in revenue.

The point is this, you have added a new marketing tool and sales item to your website. You have found the creative edge in your market and had fun doing it.
